In Bit Dungeon, you find yourself trapped in a cell after demons capture you and your wife. As you wake up, wielding your sword, the quest to rescue your wife begins. However, be aware that death in this game means losing all your items and starting anew, providing an extra layer of challenge.
The game offers a "Save Rune" feature which allows you to pause your progress and continue later. Additionally, reaching Level 4 grants you a Soul after defeating a boss, granting a second chance at survival when you die.
Controlling your character is as simple as "touch," and you can charge up for a stunning attack by holding down the touch button. Release the charge to deliver a powerful blow using the total attack damage, critical damage, and armor stats. Furthermore, you can block enemy attacks by holding down the touch button.
Within the game, various stats influence your gameplay experience. For example, LifeRegen slowly regenerates your health over time while LifeSteal heals you with each hit. DeathStrike provides a chance of instantly killing normal enemies, while Chop allows you to deal 25% damage in one hit. Cleave increases the likelihood of executing a powerful double attack, and Proc grants a chance to shoot a magic bolt upon each hit. Crit, on the other hand, increases your chances of landing a critical hit, while Defend provides a chance to block all enemy damage. RunSpeed affects the movement speed of your character. Attack Damage determines your normal hit damage, and Critical Damage influences the impact of critical hits. Armor reduces overall damage received, while Life increases your maximum health.
